Terms & conditions
The members of the French Society of Toxicology's board have decided to award a "thesis prize" of €1,500 to a student who has completed a thesis in toxicology the previous year with a view to obtaining a university doctorate.
To be eligible for the thesis prize from the SFT, the candidate must meet the following conditions:
- Be affiliated/have been affiliated with a French university for the purpose of this thesis;
- Have completed a university thesis in the field of toxicology in the calendar year preceding their application (medical, pharmacy, or veterinary theses are not eligible);
- Have obtained at least a first-class honors degree.
The application must include:
- a copy of the thesis in paper or electronic form, along with the reviewers' reports authorizing the defense, and the defense report;
- a detailed curriculum vitae;
- a letter of application summarizing the scientific approach followed throughout the thesis.
Applications are reviewed by the SFT office with a view to selecting the best submission.
The thesis prize is awarded to the winner at the SFT annual congress. The winner is then asked to present their work. The SFT covers the winner's registration, travel, and accommodation expenses.
